Vineyard Development Process

1. Site Assessment & Feasibility

3. Site Preparation

  • Trellis and post installation

4. Planting

  • Sourcing of high-quality, certified vines suited to the site and project

  • Immediate post-plant care (watering, protection, vine guards, mulching)

5. Establishment Phase (Years 1 to 3)

  • Ongoing vine care:

  • Progressive installation of trellis components as vines grow
  • Minimal or no cropping in Years 1 to 2 to focus on vine establishment

6. Early Production (Years 3 to 5)

  • Refinement of irrigation and spray programs
  • Preparation for full production

7. Full Production

  • Transition into a fully functioning vineyard producing commercial-quality fruit
  • Ongoing seasonal vineyard management (canopy management, pest/disease control, irrigation, crop thinning, harvesting)
  • Periodic reviews to adapt practices to vine maturity, market changes, and evolving environmental conditions
